CEEC begins to repair Dunai Dam in Angola

Aug 28 saw the commencement of CEEC-contracted repair of the Dunai River Dam in Benguela province, Angola.

The project is on the Dunai River in the suburb of Cubal city, Benguela province. Scheduled to be completed within 6 months, its main construction work includes dam reconstruction, repair of water-intake structures, river course clean-up, etc.

After the project is completed, the dam’s water diversion tunnel will be approximately 5 kilometers in length and will be connected to the diversion channel, through which river water will flow directly to Benguela to provide production water and domestic water for the urban area.
