Ruzhou city held a walking activity on Sunday to call attention to healthy lifestyles.
The activity, which was hosted by the city's education and sports bureau, attracted more than 270 participants. They were asked to finish the whole journey of 18 kilometers.
Lu Zhanguo, a teacher in the city, won the event by reaching the finish line in 1 hour 45 min.
"This walking activity is very meaningful. I hope our government will organize more activities like this to encourage people to be healthier," he says.
