The "Dragon spring" leisure agricultural tourism launching ceremony and the Twelfth Pear Blossom Festival opened in Zhao county, Hebei province on April 13.
The "Travel around Hebei on bicycles" activity was officially commenced at the ceremony. It also initiated eight new travel routes covering a wide variety of leisure agricultural tourism in Hebei province.
Tourists can experience the life of a fisherman or herdsman. They can also learn about the village with Manchu customs at the Great Wall or the customs in water villages. An acrobatics tour and spa tour are additionally available.
There are currently 17 four-star village hotels in Hebei. The leisure agricultural tours in Hebei province attract 40 million tourists annually with a total revenue of 10 billion yuan ($ 1.59 billion), a year-on-year increase of 25 percent.
