A 24-hour government affairs self-service station was unveiled and put into operation at Guiyang's municipal government affairs service center on Nov 24.
The station will allow individuals and companies to apply for government services during non-working hours. It has set up nine service areas for affairs related to public security, traffic, taxation, real estate, social insurance, medical insurance, the housing provident fund, banking, and intelligent government affairs services.
Applicants can scan their ID cards at self-service machines and hand in application materials to apply for government services.
The station also provides services such as printing, file access, government affairs service guidance, and application processing progress queries.
Application results will be sent to applicants via express delivery for free.
The station is equipped with staff to assist applicants during work hours.
