Southwest China's Guizhou province recently held a photo exhibition themed on the province's achievements in poverty alleviation at the 2018 NPC & CPPCC Annual legislative and Political Advisory Sessions in Beijing.
A number of Guizhou NPC deputies, including Sun Zhigang, secretary of the Guizhou Provincial CPC Committee, and Shen Yiqin, governor of Guizhou province, visited the exhibition on March 3.
During the visit, Sun pointed out that the economic and social development of Guizhou has made great progress over the past five years. Guizhou's achievements were a part of the historic changes in the country over that period.
Guizhou will insist on showing progress in poverty alleviation in different ways to encourage people to develop further in the new era.
The photo exhibition, with more than 200 photos on show, was planned by the Office of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial Congress.
