Guizhou province saw a 22-percent growth in investment in the province in 2015, from the previous year's figure, putting it in the lead among the 31 provinces and regions, followed by Tibet, at 20.7 percent, Hunan, at 17.9 percent, and the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, at 17.9.
The provincial statistics bureau is reporting total fixed asset investment for the Jan-Nov period, of 870 billion yuan ($130 billion), higher than the nation's average and with industrial investment at 190 billion yuan, up 19 percent.
The province's actual use of foreign investment showed good performance last year, at $2.3 billion, a 25.6 percent increase over the same last year period, and the approval of 162 foreign investment projects, and 64 new foreign-invested enterprises.
