The publicity department of Jinchengjiang district in Hechi, Guangxi, recently held a theme drawing activity at local second primary school to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival and promote Chinese culture.

Over 1,280 teachers and students formed two groups shaped like the Chinese character "five", representing the Dragon Boat Festival on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Over 1,200 students joined in an eggshell painting activity.

The activity was held to promote spiritual civilization in Jinchengjiang district. At present, the district has one national level civilization unit, 24 autonomous regional civilization units and model villages and towns, and 32 city level civilization units and villages and towns.
