Pingnan gets its first village bank

Pingnan county, in Fujian province, saw the opening of a branch of the Red Erythrina Village Bank, on July 7, its first village bank and the second one in eastern Fujian province. The bank also gets support from Quanzhou Rural Commercial Bank and six local enterprises, including the Pingnan Tian Wai Tian International Hotel, Biquan Co, and Baishuiyang Tourism Service Co.

Red Erythrina Village Bank provides diversified range of financial services for micro–to-small businesses, and rural people. The bank has benefited from Pingnan’s policies and is expected to help its economic development.
