Qin Yu, a student from South China's Guizhou province was impressed by the city's beautiful environment after visiting Beigang village.

"Pingtan, with its beautiful coastline, enchanting fishing culture and unique stone houses, is a perfect place to live," he said.

In a more straightforward manner, Zhu Junwei, another student in the group, expressed his fondness for the city.

"Pingtan is a city with seafood you cannot finish, sea breeze you won't be fed up with and views you shouldn't miss," Zhu summed up.
