The Fujian Branch of China Construction Bank (CCB) has vowed to increase collaboration with the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) in Fujian province on Nov 11.

CCB has always been active in assisting Pingtan’s opening and development. Pingtan, as it accelerates its full-scale construction, will need a wider range of support in finance and financial products from the Bank in the next five years, said Li Dejin, director of PCPZ’s administrative committee.

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Pingtan in early November showed his care for the development of Pingtan and Fujian. It is a golden opportunity for Pingtan to make a leap economically, said Liu Lihua, the Bank’s Party secretary.

CCB will work on more financial policies for Pingtan. And the Bank will play a bigger role in Pingtan’s development, she added.
