The trade obstacles and problems facing Chinese enterprises trading with Japan and Republic of Korea (ROK)

Abstract:
Based on "promoting trade facilitation among the three countries" designated as the research subject for the first year of the economic cooperation research program among China, Japan and South Korea, the Chinese research team carried out questionnaire survey and interviews with the enterprises to solicit the views and suggestions from Chinese enterprises engaging in trade with Japan and Republic of Korea (ROK)in terms of trade status, trade obstacle, trade development prospect and ways of cooperation between China and Japan and between China and South Korea. The findings indicate that Chinese enterprises engaging in trade with Japan or South Korea face more serious obstacles and problems and they have high hope on intensifying regional cooperation for the purpose of trade facilitation.
