Li Wei conducts survey in Shenzhen

A team from the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) headed by Li Wei, minister of the DRC, carried out a survey on the macroeconomic situation and technological innovation in Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province from June 4-6.
The survey team visited Huawei Technologies Co, Kuang-Chi Innovative Technology and Tencent. It also held seminars on the macroeconomic situation and technological innovation with people from the Guangdong provincial government's Development Research Center. Leaders from the Shenzhen municipal government, departments and enterprises also took part.
Minister Li Wei also attended and gave a keynote speech at the 2014 Symposium on Building the Financial System of the 21st Century: An Agenda for China & the United States.
The DRC's Long Guoqiang, director-general of the General Office; Lu Wei, director-general of the Department of Techno-Economic Research; Zhao Jinping, director-general of the Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations; and Zhang Chenghui, director-general of the Research Institute of Finance, joined the survey.
