Jin Sanlin, research fellow of the Research Department of Rural Economy of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), made a fact-finding trip to Yuantan town in Qianshan county, Anhui province, on April 6.
Jin and his research group focused on the situation of migrant workers who return to their hometowns to start businesses, and on the prospects of the brush manufacturing industry in Yuantan. They also visited enterprises and the exhibition hall of achievements in the town's industrial park where many returned migrant workers started their businesses.
