Compulsory law enforcement in South China

By Jiang Xingguang (chinadaily.com.cn) Updated : 2017-01-04

Law-enforcement officers from the Wanning People's Court in South China sovled a dispute of illegal occupation.

A medical company in Wanning of South China's Hainan province borrowed 50,000 yuan ($7,189) from one of its staff, surnamed Han, and promised to pay the debt by supplying a room facing the street for 50 years.

However, the company never gave occupancy of the room to Han, and rented it to others.

Han filed a lawsuit against the company at the local court, asking for an order granting occupancy.

The court made the order requested, and law enforcement officers from Wanning, together with local judicial police and policemen, cleared the room in execution of the order.
