The 37th Miss Bikini International Pageant kicked off recently in Beijing.

At the opening ceremony, 2010 winner Diana Irina Boanca from Romania, together with other former candidates, sashayed onstage in bikinis.

In one segment, the beauties have Peking Opera hairstyles and perform a catwalk to Chinese folk music.

The qualifying rounds run from May to July and span 10 cities in China. The China and world finals will be held in July and August, with candidates from nearly 80 countries and regions. Audiences can enjoy the live show via TV, video, website and mobile.
