Avant-garde theater director Meng Jinghui's latest work, Bad Kids' Carnival, is being staged until April 15.
Comic star Liu Xiaoye plays a number of roles. The work consists of eight independent stories strung together by the general theme of "self-analysis". The play also includes huge swathes of original music, played live by the actors.
