First cross-Straits Buddhist art exhibition

The first cross-Straits Buddhist art exhibition is being held at Songhelou Gallery in western Beijing. On show are some 60 ink paintings of Buddhist deities and legendary Buddhists including Hu Minghong, Hu Qitian, Xue Linxing, and Zhang Baorui. The works will be auctioned off when the exhibition ends. All proceeds will go to charity, organizers say.
