The move is part of a wider strategy to help small and medium-sized
enterprises, which form the backbone of the country's economy, the
minister said.
"These firms make a decisive contribution to job creation. Our aim is
to liberate their massive potential to improve competitiveness, tone up employment, boost economic growth and
encourage social cohesion," Sioufas said.
文中tone up的意思是"增加，提高"，例如：Exercise tones up the
