Kate Moss wants to elope

Kate Moss would like to elope with Jamie Hince.

The supermodel reportedly received a proposal from The Kills rocker on her 36th birthday last Saturday (16.01.10) but insisted she doesn't want to marry him yet, though hasn't ruled out tying the knot in future.

A friend of Jamie's told the Daily Star newspaper: "He has asked Kate to marry him several times. Everyone around them knows he's crazy about her and would marry her in a second. "Neither of them are into the idea of a big traditional wedding. Kate told him one day she will surprise him by turning around and asking him to elope, when she feels the time is right. Kate never follows the rules, she'll always do what suits her."

Earlier this week, it was reported that Jamie - who has been dating Kate since 2007 - had picked out a diamond ring with the help of business tycoon Sir Philip Green, Kate's boss at British high street chain Topshop, the clothing chain she designs garments for. Kate - who has a seven-year-old daughter Lila from her relationship with Jefferson Hack - met the guitarist three months after finishing her turbulent romance with Pete Doherty.
