Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron hesitated to part with the bra she wore in the movie "Monster" where she played serial killer Aileen Wuornos because it made her feel sexy.

According to Contactmusic.com, Theron auctioned off movie memorabilia to raise money for the Africa Outreach Project charity.

However, Charlize Theron had to bid to get one of her own items back.

"I find myself incredibly sexy in it," Charlize Theron revealed.

For the movie, ex-model and former ballet dancer Charlize Theron gained thirty pounds and studied life of unattractive, mentally ill Aileen Wuornos. Many critics called Charlize Theron's performance (and her makeup in the film) a "transformation."

The film won Charlize Theron the Academy Award for Best Actress, Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama and the SAG Award.
