The Anti-Phishing Alliance of China (APAC) said it is upgrading the process of granting a "reliable website" icon to its members, xinhuanet.com reported Thursday. In a bid to prevent phony websites from cheating people of money, a 3rd party will identify the APAC-approved websites, with fair operators getting the icon. Internet users can click the icon to tell if the site is bogus or not. Dozens of websites, including taobao.com, baidu.com and qq.com, have been granted the icon. |
