A new tax on sales of primary resources, including oil and gas, will be rolled out nationwide, Du Ying, vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, confirmed Thursday. Before going nationwide, the tax will first be rolled out across 12 western provinces, regions and cities, and will be extended to coal sales. Since early June, a 5% tax has been tested in Xinjiang. |
