在印度洋海嘯周年到來之際，受災(zāi)各國正分別舉行各種儀式，悼念這場大悲劇。在海嘯受災(zāi)最嚴(yán)重的印度尼西亞亞齊，哀悼儀式在26日8時16分開始，即去年第一個巨浪撲向當(dāng)?shù)氐臅r候。在斯里蘭卡，紀(jì)念活動的情況是這樣的：
