據(jù)悉，我國已確診第三例人禽流感病例，國家食品藥品監(jiān)督管理局正式批準我國自行研制的“人用禽流感疫苗”進入臨床研究。科研單位將在北京尋找試驗基地，并征集100名志愿者參與臨床試驗。
中國日報網(wǎng)站的消息中有這樣一句話：As China reported its third case of human bird flu yesterday, the only company in the nation approved to test a vaccine for humans said thatclinical trialson volunteers would start in days.
“臨床試驗”是個醫(yī)學術(shù)語，在英語中叫clinical trial，就是基于對患者直接觀察而做的醫(yī)學試驗。Clinical 有“臨床的”意思，比如，clinical diagnosis（臨床診斷）；clinical medicine（臨床醫(yī)學）等。
Clinical 還可指“冷靜的；客觀的”，如，clinical judgement（客觀的判斷）。
