Beijing 2008 "City Landmark" competition starts

for Concept Design of Beijing "City Landmark" 2008 is looking for applicants
worldwide by the Beijing municipal government.
The candidates can sign up for the Competition by logging on to the website:
www.bjghw.gov.cn.
According to the official in charge, the purpose of the Competition is to
collect the design concepts for landmarks and to enrich the sightseeing of the
Beijing Olympic Park.
Generally, the candidates can freely express their ideas while keeping an eye
to its practicality and function.
The results will be known on September 9th.
