8 VIP tickets for Faye Wong's conert auctioned

The last eight VIP tickets for the upcoming Hong Kong queen of pop, Faye Wong, were auctioned through a web site this Wednesday.

The eight most expensive front seat tickets went under the hummer at a starting price of 1500 yuan each.

The event's organizer said that the idea of the auction is to offer a good opportunity for true fans, who dream of being close to their pop idol but can not come by VIP tickets.

The long-awaited concert is scheduled to take place on Saturday in the Beijing Worker's Stadium, with 90 per cent tickets already sold out.
