A South Korean delegation left for Beijing Sunday for the third round of six-party talks on the nuclear issue of the Korea Penincular, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported.

Cho Tae-yong, head of the task force on the nuclear issue in the Ministry of Foreign affairs, will led the delegation at the working-level talks Monday and Tuesday ahead of the plenary session of the six-party talks Wednesday.

Cho will get together with his counterparts from the United States and Japan in preparation for the six-way meetings, and will also have meetings with the delegations of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and China ahead of the main meeting, according to Yonhap.
