Experience the feeling of Long March

On the eve of May 1 holiday, six youth tourists groups from European and
Asian counties visited the Monument Park of the Long March of the Red Army,
which is located in Songpan County of Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
Aba Prefecture has the renowned snow mountain and swamp the Red Army crossed
in the Long March and is featured with over 20 revolutionary historic hallowed
sites including the site where the First Front Army and the Fourth Front Army of
the Red Army joined forces, which are representatives of the Long March culture
and could be used as national defense education bases.
In recent years, the traffic conditions in the prefecture have been greatly
improved and the local governments and the tourism departments have taken
measures to repair and protect the memorial sites of the Long
March.
