Chinese national team footballer Li Tie
Chinese international Li Tie, who played for English premier league side Everton on loan last season, is in talks with Chinese first division club Shenzhen, reports said on Thursday.

Li, who was voted Chinese Footballer of the Year in 2002, had dinner with Zhang Hai, president of Shenzhen club's title sponsor beverage producer Jianlibao, and held talks with Zhang for two hours in Hongfuxing Hotel, the Nanfang Urban News said.

Li played some good football after joining Everton last summer but fell out of favor in the closing stage of last season. Everton manager David Moyes is still convinced to give him a permanent deal thinking his former club Liaoning's asking price of one million pounds was too much.
