Waldner to lead Sweden to Athens Olympics

Sweden's table tennis legend Jan-Ove Waldner will lead the Swedish national
team to attend the 2004 Olympics Games in Athens, said Jens Lundqvist at the
on-going ITTF Pro Tour Finals here on Thursday.
Lundqvist, who stunned China's World Cup holder and world number one Ma
Lin in the first round on Thursday, said he can make the national team led by
Waldner in Athens.
Lundqvist said "Waldner was one of the most respected table tennis player in
the world. I admire and respect him. Although he is not in his best form, I am
sure he will come back, and he will lead our national team to Athens," he
added.
