'Drowned’boy comes to life

The heart of a 3-year-old boy began beating again after a hospital had
declared him dead, leading the parents to criticize the hospital.
Wang Xuan fell into a pool while playing near his home in Guanlan Township.
Dr. Lin, a doctor at a private clinic, administered first aid and called for
an ambulance.
Doctors at the hospital examined the boy and declared him dead. They left
without carrying out other emergency measures, said Dr. Lin.
After hearing of the accident, the boy’s father hurried to the clinic and
rushed the boy to Guanlan Township Hospital, where doctors managed to revive
him.
The boy is in intensive care at the Guanlan Township
Hospital.
