Floods sweep along Hunan Province

The Zhangjiajie
municipal government compound is partly submerged
in floodwater after a rainstorm-caused spate burst into parts of the
city in central China’s Hunan Province Tuesday. Local traffic has
been halted and hundreds of residents were
evacuated. No casualties have yet been reported.
