Wife's wish saves husband's earnings from stock

The recent bull market in stock in China means great returns for most investors who make impressive profits.

A couple in Wuhan, Hubei province is among the lucky ones who earned more than two million yuan ($322,200) in the stock market. The wife planned to spend the money buying a house that goes on the market next week, while the husband wanted to keep all the money in the bull market a little longer.

The wife kept pressing her husband to buy the house, even threatening divorce. Finally the husband relented, sold all the stock and used it to buy the house.

Unexpectedly, just after he sold all the stock, the market took a 'savage fall' on Friday. The compliant husband dodged a bullet.
