Aquatic animals back into the sea

The activity of putting aquatic animals back into the sea was co-organized by the Bureau of Aquatic Products of Tianjin and the Tianjin Port Group on June 6.
100 million prawn seedlings, 1 million Portunus triuberbuculatus, 1 million pike and 20,000 Cynoglossus semilaevis were released to the sea.
This is an important move to protect the environment of surrounding waters, conserve biological resources of the Bohai Bay, restore the marine environment, and guarantee sustainable development for the fishery.
Li Wei, chief-engineer of the Group and Liu Jinquan, deputy director of the Bureau of Aquatic Products of Tianjin, made speeches at the launching ceremony and joined the public in the activity.
