MONTREAL, July 29- Leisel Jones of Australia set a world record of two
minutes 21.72 seconds in the final of the women's 200 metres breaststroke at the
world championships on Friday.
Jones sliced 0.72 seconds off the previous mark of 2:22.44 set by American
Amanda Beard in last year's U.S. Olympic trials at Long Beach, California.
