As a part of the 2016 Visiting Program for Young Sinologists, 31 Sinologists from 26 countries visited historical villages and Mount Huangshan in East China's Anhui province from July 17 to 20, 2016.

During the two-week program, which started on July 6, Sinologists conducted research and studied at several institutes in Beijing before travelling to Anhui to study local culture and history.

Hosted by the China Ministry of Culture and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the program aims to provide a platform for young Sinologists to better understand China and meet scholars in the same areas.
