Ma Jun, sculpture artist, presented his celebrated personal work China ? Car at the event. His artistic works in the New China series have been collected by art institutions at home and overseas.

An automobile represents the civilization of the West and it symbolizes speed, while china is the symbol of Chinese civilization that is static, Ma explained. "My work represents a reflection on modern life, a collision and contradiction of West and East civilization," Ma said.
