Enamel porcelains were extremely valuable during the three periods, first created during Kangxi's time. Since the manufacturing process and materials of enamel porcelain were incomparable, the Qing government had a monopoly on this kind of porcelain. The enamel bowl above, characterized by an excessively thin body under the glaze, sold for 4,370,000 RMB at the China Guardian 2011 Autumn Auctions.
