President Xi Jinping's speeches at the G20 and APEC meetings have pointed out sources of growth for the global economy and demonstrated China's confidence, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Thursday.

Wang made the remarks to journalists, as Xi wrapped up his visits to Turkey and the Philippines for two top-level international economic conferences, and returned to Beijing in the evening.

"In the two meetings, President Xi Jinping, in his open manner, offered an elaboration on the current situation and the future development of the Chinese economy," Wang said. "Citing facts and numbers, Xi fully demonstrated China's confidence."
