Comment on "Gunmen kill 9 Chinese workers" (China Daily, April 25)
Decades ago, as soon as China became somewhat strong and rich, she shipped cargo and goods to help Africans. I still remember some Tanzanians were trampled to death when huge crowds welcomed the Chinese trains carrying consumer goods, from foodstuff to toothpaste in the early 1980s.
