Agreements related to several culture and tourism projects in Guizhou province, Southwestern China, were signed during the annual China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Fair.

The 19 projects are worth more than 6.79 billion yuan ($1.02 billion), according to the local authority.

Construction of a cultural innovation project, which covers a bullfighting court, 3D animation center and spa facilities, will begin at the end of 2016.

The projects, with an investment of 3 billion yuan by a Beijing-based cultural company, will be located in Kaili, southeastern Guizhou.

"Integration of culture and tourism is the key to attracting domestic and foreign investment as Guizhou boasts abundant natural and historical resources," said Zhang Guangzhi, Guizhou publicity chief.

Traditional Guizhou culture and tourism resources were displayed at the five-day annual cultural fair, which ended in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, today.
