SHENZHEN - A former vice mayor of a south China city has been detained for allegedly taking bribes, local prosecutors said Friday.
Liu Shengfa, former vice mayor of Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, was detained on Thursday pending further investigation, said a source with the Shenzhen People's Procuratorate.
