The death toll from a bus explosion on Sunday in Shaanxi province rose to five on Monday, China News Service reported.
The explosion happened at 6:40 pm on Sunday in a bus in Pucheng county, which initially killed four people and injured 25 others.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where the fifth fatality occurred, according to a news conference held on Monday morning.
The cause of the blast is being investigated.
