BEIJING - A compilation of speeches and writings on building the Communist Party of China (CPC) by former senior Chinese leader He Guoqiang was published on Thursday.
Jointly published by the People's Publishing House and the Party Building Books Publishing House, the book contains 210 pieces of reports, speeches, talks, articles, instructions, letters by He between January 1988 and November 2012.
He, a former Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, had served as Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the CPC's disciplinary agency.
The articles reflect He's thinking about Party building, especially in the field of disciplinary inspection and supervision.
Most of the writings in the book are being published for the first time, the publishers said.
