Jinzhou port's annual grain throughput reached 11.05 million metric tons, ranking first among ports in Northeast China.

According to Jinzhou Port Co Ltd, the increase in its grain throughput has been the result of its improved services and cooperation with banks and enterprises. The port also said it will open new routes, perfect facilities and develop new kinds of goods.

Moreover, the decrease of corn imports and the harvest of corn in western Liaoning contributed to the increase of throughput.

Jinzhou Port, based in Liaoning province, has 16 berths with a designed annual cargo throughput of 35 million metric tons.
