China Mobile prepares for domestic listing

Updated: 2009-09-11 21:07 China Mobile has begun the process for a domestic listing, the company's chairman and CEO Wang Jianzhou said today, according to china.com.cn. China Mobile has been working on listing its shares in the domestic market for years, Wang, who is attending the World Economic Forum in Dalian, told reporters. He said he hopes the authorities will facilitate listings of the overseas-incorporated Chinese firms. Shanghai government officials said previously Shanghai will fully support the establishment of an international board on the Shanghai exchange in which overseas companies could trade for the first time, according to china.com.cn's report. |
