Man kills mother during a quarrel with wife

Updated: 2009-02-21 08:02 A man in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province, was sentenced to four years in prison on Monday after he killed his own mother. Zhao Jianming, a resident in the city's Ganzhou district, had a quarrel with his wife one evening in March 2007 after dinner with his friends. He was drunk. During the argument he took a knife and shouted that he wanted to kill her but killed his mother who tried to stop the fight. (Lanzhou Morning News) |
