Not only Chinese citizen and overseas Chinese students are against the way Western media report when it comes to China.
Living in China for 2 years now and reading many news papers and magazines online in Dutch, French, German and English languages regularly, I have the strong impression that, when it comes to China, Western media focus only on bad or negative news but never give the good or positive news.
Sure, China is not the perfect country and has still to conquer many challenges but the Chinese people work hard on it. And, countries as the United States, or the old West European countries look better to what is going on in their own country before blaming China.
After all, I can say that Chinese people are friendly, social and helpful. Nevertheless the limitations as foreigner living here, I feel good living here, in some ways even better as in my home country.
