The opening ceremony of the 25th Tsingtao International Beer Festival in the West Coast Square in Shandong province will be held on August 7, 2015.

West Coast Square, the world's largest beer-themed square covering an area of 66.6 hectares, is located in the west side of Golden Beach. The design for this square is based on the ideas of blue, ecology and eternity. This beer square contains grand beer tent area, beer garden street area, central performance area, entertainment area and camp area. During the beer festival from August 8 to August 23, people can not only taste cool beer brought from all over the world, but also enjoy a variety of cultural activities.

All the preparations are nearly finished. China's Tsingtao beer, the Netherlands' Heineken beer, Denmark's Carlsberg, Germany's Berlin beer and Bischofshof 1649 beer, and Spanish Mahou beer have set up their stalls at the grand beer tent area and the beer garden street.

The festival was launched in 1991 and is held annually on the second weekend in August during the golden tourism season. It is an Asian beer carnival with a fusion of tourism, culture, sport and commerce. This even is also a promotion for Tsingtao beer industry and its urban landscape to the world.
