Large Medium SmallBEIJING - China UnionPay, the country's largest bank card services provider, said on Friday that CUP bank cards can be accepted for payments through Procesos MC in Peru, further consolidating its presence in Latin America.
This is the 135th country or region that now accepts CUP cards.
Procesos MC Peru, a leading service provider offering solutions for payment transactions, covers about 55,000 merchant stores in Peru, involving hotels, catering services and shops.
CUP has opened its online payment services in more than ten countries and regions in Latin America and its transaction volume grew above 40 percent annually, said Su Ning, CUP board chairman.
